This place is out of control...not that that is a bad thing. The shear size of this place will wear you out. The stages according to reports are approximately 2 miles apart, and the camping area another mile from either one, and the press area a mile in the other direction. Realizing that we're making these trips 5-6-7 times a day weighs pretty heavy on the feet. Everyone is a little leg-weary--and a little sunburned to say the least. And IT IS HOT!!!!
The music has been incredible. And the people, well, the people have been pretty in control. Everyone is just here for the fun. And it is fun, once you get over the conditions. And these people take their fun seriously. This is a great (maybe the greatest) place to soak up the spirit and personalities of the masses. It's the ultimate escapism. 3+ days of just cutting it all loose. What a blast.
Last night, Bush, Korn, and The Offspring, not to mention the Insane Clown Posse, put on amazing shows. People stayed up until early this morning just wanting to talk about how great it was. It's been an experience.
