Here I am again to tell all of you what is going on here at WOODSTOCK '99.
As said before, it is UNREAL! We are sitting in the Press area anxiously awaiting the arrival of George CLinton who should be here for a press conference. Oh, we were just informed that he will come another time. (hint: it is a bit disorganized here)
I must say that I am having a blast aside from the 5 dollar chicken sandwiches and 4 dollar bottled water (at least they are refillabel) haha. This event is unlike any I have ever experienced, no matter where you look, you come upon thousands upon thousands of people.
If you imagine what it looks like at an amusement park or any concert, you can multiply that 100 fold. People from all corners are here: conservative, exhibitionists, hippies, the regular joe shmoe, and more. If you are a people watcher, this is the place to be.
Today we were able to watch James Brown, Live, Sheryl Crow, DMX, and The Offspring. Any concerts that we miss in person can be watched from the comfort of the Press Tent via Pay Per View. Pretty awesome huh?
I can't wait until I can fill you in on the happenings of tomorrow when I get to see DAVE MATTHEWS! Hopefully we'll have good enough seats that I can bring you back a good story.
To all of my friends and family that are keeping up with our site, I love you and miss you and will be home with plenty of stories and pictures come Monday!!!
