This is one monstrous event. Just wander around soak it in. What an event! It's amazing what can happen when you get 200,000 people together. Thus far we've seen screaming/howling waves...pretty interesting. Yep, it's just like a wave at the ballpark, only instead of standing, people shout, howl, whatever... Oh yeah, and it takes about 10 minutes and covers about 3 miles. And did I mention the frisbee riot? Drop 10,000 frisbees into a crowd of 5,000 and watch what happens. It looks like a giant popcorn popper. Just watch your head.
Aside from that madness, we're having a great time people-watching, and bumpin' around... And the bands haven't even started yet. The energy is just starting to buzz. The press conference is starting right now.
Quick update, Sugar Ray bowed out. Apparently a band member is ill. They have been replaced by G-Love and Special Sauce.
And, with all these people...I just got the announcement....TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE.
