Charles, Just to let you know we did report on the rapes on this site the day that they were announced. The news report is in the news area of this site. Also, I am sure we would all prefer it if you would not refer to everyone at Woodstock as violent criminals. 99% of the people that attended were exactly the same as the children of the 60's. Peaceful and loving. The reason that the fire crews were not called in immediately is because the fires were not out of control. Once they were, then the fire crews moved in. I was wondering what did happen to the 4000 man security force during the riots though.
One final thought for you sir... I know that we can't bring back the 60's, but wouldn't you at least like to try and carry on what they stood for? I am very sorry that these bad things happened at Woodstock and "yes" it is very sad. But all we can do is continue to try and make this a better world. Complaining and filing lawsuits is not the solution to our problems. 250,000 people coming together in peace is. It's just too bad that a few did not see it that way.
